What’s in your closet? Hi. Mitchell Jones, Mitchell Home Sales, Coldwell Banker Realty. Oftentimes, I go on listing consults where my prospective sellers are considering selling their home and they’d like suggestions and advice on how to get their home ready for sale. And I would say take a look at those closets. The reason why I’m saying that is oftentimes my sellers say well it’s not important that I clean my closet up. Well, yes it is. Your buyers are gonna look in those closets. They want big closets. The less you have in that closet, the larger that closet is going to look. Items that are on the floor make that closet look confined and I would say kind of junky for showings. So whatever you can do to clean out those closets, you’re gonna keep some things in there, obviously, but pare down collections, pare down everything that’s in there, and if it makes sense, get some big boxes, take things to storage, or store them in your garage for optimal showings. For tips like this and others, I hope that you’ll reach out to me for answers to your questions you might have. My number is (951) 805-1451.
